Welcome to my webpage! A little bit about me...
My undergraduate degree is in Architectural Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin. After working in industry as a structural engineer for several years, I decided to transition to teaching and got a my Masters degree in STEM Education from UT. Throughout my teaching career I have taught several different courses including: Geometry, Algebra II Pre-AP, Pre-Calculus, Multivariable Calculus and Differential Equations. Last year I implemented a new, broad-based engineering course at Westlake called Engineer Your World. I am also a Consulting Teacher for the Engineer Your World program and help train other engineering teachers across the state. And I am proud to be a Westlake cheer coach - Our competition squad is a three time Division 1 Super Large Varsity NATIONAL CHAMPION!
If you would like to know more about my background and teaching philosophy please check out an interview is did with The K12 Engineering Education podcast.
I look forward to another wonderful year working with the amazing students and parents of the Westlake community!
